Hi!  My name is Allegra Esposito!  I am 13 years old and live with my family and our many animals in North Salem, NY.  It is a beautiful country town with lots of horses and farms.  

Our farm is on a quiet dirt road where we live with our 40 chickens, ducks, our dogs, barn cats, and 2 horses.  We are always busy! 

I have been gardening with my mom forever.  I have always enjoyed growing things and digging in the dirt.  I love the taste of fresh food and there is almost nothing (other than cauliflower) that I don’t like.  There is nothing better than homegrown veggies.  

My garden project, now going on its seventh year, has taught me so much!  I have learned about compost, natural fertilizers, how to control garden pests naturally, how to grow and when to grow things, problem solving, responsibility,  and most of all patience.  I  plan on expanding my  project to be  bigger and better with every season.
